Hello Jim! We’re putting out a call to all past USBH Connecting Challenge participants. We are only a few thousand profiles away from meeting our goal of 50,000 new profiles for 2021. I hope you’ll be able to join us by adding some new profiles in December. They sign up post is here:
Thank you for contributing to the November Sourcerers Challenge! As you know, every source added to an unsourced profile improves our One Tree. Thank you for taking time from your own family history to help others.
I don't know how these things get decided, but I'd like to propose Warner Mifflin the Quaker Abolitionist as a notable Delawarean and possible candidate for Delaware Project management. Although I am happy to continue managing him, and have many children still to set up.
For what it's worth, he has a wikipedia page and a historical highway marker :)
Thank you for your work on this profile. You can add the Notables Sticker to this profile. I don't think this profile requires project management. However, if confusion, duplication or other contentious issues arise that could be reason for PPP and project managment.
Hello Cousin! Here is how we are related: This makes Thomas Harris the tenth great grandfather of Jim and this makes Thomas Harris the 11th great grandfather of Sarah. It is so nice to be working with a fellow family member on our current challenge.
Since Eowyn provided the major links in her email, I'm dropping by with the other main one you'll need. This will take you to the state links for the suggestions that need to be fixed. https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:DBE_Errors_By#East_North_Central
Click on the state you want to work on and it will bring up a huge chart of suggestions. If you have any question about how things work or if there's any issues, drop a note in the Team chat or PM me.
Hi I have some questions who in charge of the Chester County Pennsylvania area? Since I am behind on my Irish Research since my surgery. I like to submit this???
I like to make subcategory concerning a major Chester County Pennsylvania event. I have lots of sources where I found information on the Duffys Cut Massacre. I found one person and can add least one more later. Not sure if Irish Project can help with the records in Ireland???
The category would fall within the interest of the Pennsylvania Project. However, there is no need for the project to manage the category. You may add a description to the category page and link profiles and/or free-space pages by assigning them to the category.
Thank you for your participation in October 2020’s Source-a-thon. Your contributions helped us to clear over 57,000 profiles that needed sourcing. This makes our Shared Tree all that much better.

Go to one of the profiles with the wrong spouse. Select edit. Scroll down to where you see "Spouses" in the right-hand column. Select "add/remove spouse" under the appropriate spouse (if more than one). You will get a new form which is blank. Scroll ALL THE WAY to the bottom of the form. Check the circle next to the spouse you want to remove, then click on "remove spouse of xxx".
Looks like we're 12th cousins! We have a common 11th great grandfather: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Collier-19 We share him with Teri Taylor from our Team Missouri as well.

There is no person in charge of Chester County. I suggest you use the new category request form - https://www.wikitree.com/contact/category/
After the category has been created, you can add text to explain more and link to sources. If you run into problems let me know, or post on G2G.
I put in a request for new category. Would Pennsylvania or Irish project be in charge new category though.
Billie
