George was born in 1836. He was born in Framingham, the son of Roswell P. Angier, b. in Southboro, and Jerusha P. (Partridge) Angier.[1][2]
In 1850, George Angier lived in Worcester, Worcester, Massachsuetts, with his parents, Roswell P. and Jerusha Angier and 5 brothers and sisters. Roswell worked as a ticket master and owned real estate worth $25,000.[3]
Emma C. Dyer, 19 of Worcester, and George Angier, 28 of Boston, were married on 6 Oct 1863 at Worcester, Worcester, Massachusetts. The ceremony was performed by Henry L. Jones of Fitchburg. Emma was the daughter of Calvin and Elizabeth Dyer.[2] Based on census and other records, they had at least the following children:

Alice Angier, b. ca. 1867
George Angier Jr., b. ca. 1869
Emma E. Angier, b. ca. 1871
Ralph Waldo Angier, b. ca. 1877
In 1880, Emma E. and George Angier lived in Newton, Middlesex, Massachusetts, with five children. George worked as a railroad ticket agent.[4]
George Angier, a ticket agent, died on 20 Feb 1894 at Newton, MIddlesex, Massachusetts. He was 58 years, 8 months and 4 days old. He died of a pistol shot wound to the right temple.[1] He is buried at the
Newton Cemetery, Plot H-80, Newton, Middlesex, Massachusetts.[5]
