Magdeleine was born about 1741. She is the daughter of Robert Angot and Marguerite Haché.
She was listed at age 11 in the 1752 census at Rivière-de-Peugiguit, Isle Saint-Jean.[1]
It is believed that she died at sea during the crossing to France with her parents and 2 siblings.[2]
(Translation : We count Marguerite Haché, her second husband and three of her children among the Acadian families of Île St-Jean who disappeared without any trace after 1758. After an in-depth study of the subject, we believe that they were among the unfortunate passengers on board one of the two English transports that sank at sea (voir/see SHA vol II, p. 286-299). Some records indicate the specific vessel may have been "The Duke William".
