Reading Eagle, June 25, 1974, page 4: Mrs. Ruth N. Schaeffer, 78, formerly of 321 Moss St., died this morning at 6:10 o'clock in the Hawthorne Home, 1501 Mineral Spring Road, where she was a guest three months. Born in Reading, a daughter of the late William and Margaret (Derrick) Angstadt, she was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Jackson Democratic Club and the 12th Ward Democratic Club. Surviving are a daughter, June, wife of Rodney S. Keffer, Northmont; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. in the Whelan & Fleischmann Funeral Home, the Rev. Luke S. Sweitzer officiating. Burial will be in the Laureldale Cemetery. Buried: Laureldale Cemetery, Section K, Lot 833, Tuckertown, Berks County, Pennsylvania.
