1789 - George Anstot received Certificate No 316 for 200 acres of land lying on Squirrel Creek in Randolph County entered 6th of January 1789. (NC ratified the Constitution November 1789 and thus became a state).

1790 - George Anstat was listed in the US Census in Randolph, NC.

1792 - George Omstead received 100 acres from Jacob Moser. (1792 Deed Book 1, pg 215.).

1795 - George Unstat sold to Lee Deaton one hundred acres of land located on the waters of Deep River for Forty-five pounds on the 12th of Dec . (1795 Deed Book, page 18.).

1799 - George Onstot was taxed on 200 acres. (Taxable Property list for Randolph County, NC; This is probably the 100 acres he purchased from Jacob Moser and the 100 acres from Lee Deaton.).

1800 - George Onstott was listed in the US Census (of 45 years of age and over) in Hillsborough Twp., Randolph, NC.

...1803 - William Onstott purchased 97 acres of land on the North side of Deep River in Randolph County from William Searcy for $125.00. (Book 8 pg 365 ) (William Searcy was born 27 May 1754. His daughter, Elizabeth Searcy, b. 5 Feb 1784 in N C and George Onstott's son William, b. 18 Jul 1774, married abt. 1801.).

1804 - William Onstat (George's son) purchased 200 acres from George Onstat. (Book 8 pg 421).

1804 - George Onstatt purchased 193 acres from William Onstott (his son). (Book 8, pg 453).

1804 - George Onstat's lease to Eldrege Deaton, his son-in-law, acres not specified, was recorded. (Book 8 pg 457; This must be the land referred to in George's will of 1805. Eldridge Deaton was his daughter Hannah's husband).

1805 - George Onstott wrote his will, and passed away 14 Jan 1805.[2]

1811 - George Onstat's 200 acres of land was sold through his executors, Spinks and Cary. (Book 12, page 85.).
