Birth certificate gives parents as Fanny Young and William Angus, no records of either of these have been found in the censuses, Birth, Marriage or Death. Same details recorded for sister Eliza but on the Parish Register entry for Eliza's marriage, her father is named as Ernest Angus, Harness maker. It has been suggested that the Fanny Young on the birth certificates may in fact be Fanny Angus, a sister of Eliza's and that William Angus didn't exist.
