Biography
Charles Anketell was born in 1754. He was the son of William Anketell and Anne Coote. He died on 20 November 1828, unmarried. He was given the name of Charles Ancketill at birth. As of 1756, Charles Anketell was considered the head of the Ancketill family. His name was legally changed to Charles Anketell. He lived at Anketell Grove, County Monaghan, Ireland, formerly Ancketill's Grove.[1][2]
