Biography
Ann was born in Tynemouth or North Shields, Northumberland, England in about 1800.
She married William Gardiner Tate (1795-aft.1871) in February 1819 at Christ Church, Tynemouth, Northumberland[1][2] and the couple had at least ten children, born in South and North Shields and Tynemouth. Many of the children died young.
Husband William was a widower at the time of the 1871 census.[3]
