Biography

John Annand was christened on 4 May 1764 in Grange, Banffshire, Scotland.^[1]

He came to Halifax in the 1780’s where his cousin William Annand was established. He farmed at Gay’s River until his death in 1834.

His will gives the names of his surviving children.^[2][3][4]

John was born in 1764 in Grange, Banffshire, Scotland and baptised on 4 May 1764. He is the son of John Annand and Jean Chrysty.^[5]
