William Annesley was a member of the aristocracy in British Isles.

Biography

William was the sixth son in his family. He became a barrister.

William married Anne Beresford in 1738 when he was 29. Anne was the eldest daughter of the Earl of Tyrone. They settled at Castlewellan[citation needed].

He was created Baron Annesley on 20 Sep 1758. He was raised to the position of 1st Viscount Glerawly on 14 Nov 1766.[citation needed]
