Benjamin was born in 1758. He was the son of Rolfe Annis and Sarah Rawlings. He passed away in 1801.
BENJAMIN ANNIS was born October 20, 1758 at Bradford, Massachusetts; died November 26, 1844 at Gustavus Center, Ohio; married circa 1787, Sarah Phelps,and had one child; married 2nd, September 19, 1791, Eunice Phelps at Goshen, New Hampshire, and had four children. Benjamin removed to Madison County, New York by 1810, and was residing at Covington, New York in 1820, before following his sons Abraham and Ira to Ohio. He was a veteran of the Revolutionary War and his grave is marked with the identification of a soldier of the American Revolution. There are many records of Benjamin residing at Vermont, New Hampshire and Ohio.
