Biography
Mary Anniss married in England to Thomas Henry Wakeham. She was 31 when she and Thomas emigrated to New Zealand on the 'City of Auckland in 1872. They arrived at the Port of Auckland on September 4. Mary had 3 recorded children in New Zealand but there are known to be 5 as stated in her obituary. Mary died in 1924 aged 84 and is buried at Waikumete cemetery, Auckland.
