”Pair Awarded Damages

”An Edgewood couple, Ruth H. Ansaldi and Fulvio F. Ansaldi of 21 Sunset Terrace, have been awarded damages of $500 and $346.17 in their suits against the United States, according to consent judgments on file yesterday in U.S. District Court. The actions resulted from an accident in which a mail truck on Aug. 28, 1948, struck the parked car in which Mrs. Ansaldi was seated in front of 145 Warwick Avenue, Cranston.”

MRS. RUTH H. ANSALDI

Mrs. Ruth H. Ansaldi died yesterday at her home, 21 Sunset Terrace, Cranston, after a long illness. Born July 17, 1913, in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the later Harry and Isabel (Hayes) Lambert. Following her graduation from Rhode Island College of Education in 1934, she taught for several years in the public school system of Pawtucket. Lately she had been a substitute teacher in the Providence public schools.

She leaves her husband, F. Francis Ansaldi, well known Providence photographer.
