Charles Edward Ansell and Rose Banister were married after banns on 16th December 1900 at St Leonard's, Shoreditch, Middlesex.[2] They were bachelor and spinster and both living at 132 Kingsland Road. Charles was 34, a licensed victualler and the son of Edward Ansell who was a commerical traveller. Rose was 19, a spinster and the daughter of John Banister (deceased) who was a butcher.[3]
