Elizabeth was born between 1805 and 1807, the daughter of Thomas Anstee (b. 1775?) and Elizabeth Kingham (b.1782?). [1]
Elizabeth married William Sexton on 29 March 1824 at Ivinghoe, Buckinghamshire, England.[2] They had 10 children between 1825 and 1852: Caroline, William, John, George, Mary Ann, Elizabeth, Edward, Eliza, Henry and Arthur.
In 1841, Elizabeth (aged 30 on census) was living at Frogmore End, Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, England.[3] With her were husband Wiliam, 30, Caroline, 15, William, 12, John, 10, Elenor, 8, George, 4 and Mary Ann, 1.
In 1851, Elizabeth (age 44 on census) was living at Frogmore Lane, Two Waters, Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, England.[1] With her were husband William, 45, and sons and daughters John, 21, George, 14, Mary Ann, 11, Edward. 7, Eliza, 4 and Henry, 3.
In 1861, Elizabeth was living at White Lion Street, Apsley, Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, England. Her occupation was Straw plaiter.[4] With her was her husband William, 56, son Edward (transcribed as Edmond), 17, Eliza, 15, Henry, 12, and Arthur, 9.
In 1871, Elizabeth (age 64) was livng at Frogmore Lane, Two Waters, Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, England.[5] She was with her husband William, 65.
