Biography

Roll of Honor
Lieutenant John Anstruther was Killed in Action during World War I.

John was born in 1888. He was the son of Charles Thomson and Agnes Guthrie. [1]

He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 6th Dragoon Guards (Carabiniers).

John fought in the First World War and was Aide-de-Camp to the Governor-General of Australia in 1914.

Tragically he died in 1914, killed in action. He was 25 years of age.
