Mr. Antill was 93 years and 28 days old. His death followed a very brief illness. ............. For a number of years he lived a retired life. His parents were John And Isabella Chinneth Antill. He had six brothers and two sisters. Two of his brothers gave their lives for their country's sake. They are Hison Ison who died in Andersonville Prison and Jacob who was shot in the battle of Spotsylvania. Asberry, David, and Harvey are also deceased. Lindsey Antill is the only surviving brother. Edward Antill was united in marriage to Miss Zilpha Spragg in 1851 and to this union was born five sons and two daughters: Lemmon of Avella, John, Jacob, Milton, all on the home place; Mrs. H. H. Tustin of Imperial; and Mrs. Isabella Whitlatch of McDonald, RD 4. He also leaves 16 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held in the Venice United Presbyterian Church November the 19, conducted by the Rev. Z. H. Yoders assisted by the Rev. Littel and Conners of Venice. Master Listing Source: Y.
