Biography
Jacques Joseph was born in 1921 in Dabo, Moselle.
By the time of WWII he was forced to fight for the 3rd Reich and was sen to the russian front. He died there in 1943.

Research Notes
The death town written on the french army website only states "Goroditsche, Russia". There are many Goroditsche in Russia, Belarus or Ukraine. It might be possible to infer which one is the right one by looking at front maps for the beginning of sept. 1943. See :
