Maijke was the daughter of Anthonis (Theunis) Quirijnen (Crijnen) and his wife Anna Jans (van Goorl). Maijke was born in 1596 in Holland, probably in Etten, Brabant, where she was baptized in the Roman Catholic Church on 18 January 1596. [1][2]

She married Pieter Pieterzn Tack in about 1618. Four children are known to have been born to the marriage between 1622 and 1630:[3]

  1. Cornelis Peterszn Tack, baptized July 27, 1622 (parents Petri Petri and Maria Antonij; witnesses Antonius Quirinij and Maria Johannes).
  2. Peter Peterszn Tack, baptized May 13, 1625 (parents Petri Peeterss and Maria Anthonij; witnesses Cornelius Petri and Joanna Cornelij; died before the birth of another Peter in 1630.
  3. Arnoldus (Aert) Peterszn Tack, baptized July 26, 1626 (parents Petri Petri and Mariae Anthonij; witnesses Henricus Andreas Goswijnij and Anthonia Joannis).[4]
  4. Peter Peterszn Tack, baptized November 24, 1630 (parents Petri Petri and Maria Antonij; witnesses Christianij Cornelij and Anna Judoci).

She died before 24 February 1639, the date of a legal agreement related to the upbringing and maternal inheritances of her surviving children.[5] File Quirijnen-2 was created with a death date of "before 1634."

Crynen-1 and Quirijnen-2 appear to represent the same person because: Same person. Quirijnen-2 should be the merge destination.

Quirijnen is the spelling from Dutch sources, so it should be the LNAB; Crynen is a spelling that appeared in a record in New Netherland.

I was wanting to change this spelling for a long time, but I didn't go so far as to create a new profile just to become a merge destination for the Crynen profile.

The Dutch "record" is the work of Frans C. M. Gouverneur that is cited on this page.

Could you add these Dutch records please, or a link to them maybe ?

Having found Dutch records for this woman, I believe her LNAB should be Quirijnen or Crijnen.

Crynen is a spelling that appears in a document created in America, probably on the basis of oral pronunciation by Aert Tack. Spellings found in Dutch records should be preferred.
