ROLV was married twice, first to _____ Larsdotter of Tordenstjerneætta, and second to Dorthe Jonsdotter GVANNES who was the daughter of Rev. Laurits Mattson of Sauherad, Telemark. It is unclear which was the mother of BIRGIT.

[Note: I believe Dorthe Jonsdotter Gvannes was the daughter of Jon Torbjørnssøn Gvannes and not of the Rev. Laurits Mattson. Aslaug Lauritsdatter, another wife, would have been the daughter of Rev. Mattson. -- C. Stalick.]

Klevar was once one of the largest farms in Sauherad. The cottage dates to 1798 and the loft is older. This farm is the scene of the old legend of the Klevar-treasure, a hoard of silver supposedly taken from the elves.
