Biography

Rev. Benjamin Applebee, Jr. kept a journal. That journal is currently in the Illinois Historical Survey located in Urbana, Illinois. The birth and death dates of his father and mother were recorded in the journal. [1]

Late in life, Benjamin Applebee made application for bounty lands for his service during the War of 1812. It was rejected, but in his application he gave the places he had lived.
