Adonirum Judson Appleby, who was often referred to by his middle name, was born March 23, 1857 in New Brunswick. He was a son of William Thomas Appleby, a farm labourer, and Isabel (Ackerley) Appleby.[1][2]
He married Sarah Elizabeth Logue circa 1874. They lived in Queens County, New Brunswick and had a large family.[3]
Judson was a shoemaker. The family lived in Wickham, Queens County until circa 1890 when they appear to have moved to Cambridge.[4][5]
Judson passed away in 1904 and is interred at the First Cambridge Baptist Church Cemetery in Cambridge-Narrows, New Brunswick.[6]
