Marriage Notice: Evening Star, Issue 21328, 4 February 1933: "WEDDINGS. GIBB-APPLEGARTH. A very pretty wedding was solemnised in St. Clair Presbyterian Church on the evening of February 1, when Margaret Lambton Applegarth was married to Robert Gibb, of Dunedin. The Rev. R. Scott Allan was the officiating minister. The church was beautifully decorated by friends of the bride. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her brother, was charmingly gowned in a frock of blue satin cut on graceful lines, and a black picture hat. Miss Doris M. Slater attended as bridesmaid, her gown was of salmon pink satin, and she wore a large black picture hat. Mr James Haig attended as best man. A guard of honour was formed by the Caversham Nursing Division and representatives of the brigade, of whom the bride was a member. Later a reception was held at the Hydro tea Rooms, St. Clair, where Miss B. Applegarth received the guests.
