Biography
Sarah (Appleton) Addlesee was born in Lincolnshire, England.
Sarah Ann Appleton was born on 7 April 1867 in West Rasen, Lincolnshire.[1][2]
She was the daughter of Robert & Rebecca Appleton and was baptised on 23 June 1867 in West Rasen, Lincolnshire.[3]
In the 1881 census Sarah (age 14) was the unmarried daughter of Robert Appleton in Holton-Le-Moor, Lincolnshire.[2]
Sarah married Charles Addlesee, a shepherd, on 22 February 1897 in Kirmington, Lincolnshire.[4]
The couple had no children and in the 1911 census Sarah (age 43) and Charles Addlesee were in Holton-le-moor.[5]
Charles died in 1924 and by 1939 Sarah was with her elder brother Robert Appleton in Caistor.[1]
Sarah died on 19 January 1943 in North Kelsey Lincolnshire.[6]
