Thomas Lorkin Appleton had a cottage at 25 Pleasant Ave in 1902. He was probably still there in July 1909 when his wife Helen Amelia Leavitt died at Hamilton. He is not found on the list in 1923; there is no one at that address in 1923, but the list gives a Mrs Caroline Cook at 0 Pleasant, which is probably an error for 25 or 27 as it is on the right side of the street between 23 and 29.[1]
