Samuel Gilman Appleton, son of James and Sarah (Fuller) Appleton, was born on 5 Nov. 1808.[1]
He married Sarah Gardiner on 30 Sep. 1839.[1]
He and Sarah appeared on the census of 1860 at West Farms, Westchester County, New York.[2]
Daniel died on 29 Nov. 1873[1] and was buried at Old South Cemetery, Ipswich, Essex County, Massachusetts. His memorial has a photo of his headstone.[3]
