He married Mary Council about 1730 in Isle of Wight, Virginia. ChIldren: Amy, Henry, Thomas, Priscilla, John, Benjamin. He died on 22 Sep 1739 in Isle of Wight, Virginia.
Henry settled the estate of Thomas Goodson in Isle of Wight in 1730. In 1733 he bought 210 acres beginning north side of Nottoway River, Nansemond and 350 acres north side Nottaway River beginning on east side of Cedar Swamp and William Pope's land, Isle of Wight. (Virginia Patents)
