James Appleyard (1887)

Biography

James was born in 1887^[1] in Goole, Yorkshire, England. He was the son of William Appleyard and Frances Young. William was away in 1891 when the family lived in Airmyn, Yorkshire.^[2]

At the time of the 1901 census James and his brother Stephen lived in Hull, Yorkshire.^[3] In 1911 James boarded with the Fitton family in Crosby, Lincolnshire.^[4]

He married Florence Beatrice Seward in 1913.^[5]
