Biography

Frances Appleyard was christened June 22, 1824 in Ludborough, Lincoln, England.[1]
In 1841, she was living in the home of John Simons and his family.[2]
Around 1848, she married Benjamin Howden. They had 2 children, Elizabeth in 1849, and William in 1851.[3]
Frances' sister-in-law, Septima, (her brother John's wife) was also living with them during the 1851 Census.[3]
