At St. John's Church of England, Young, on Wednesday, Mr. Charles Smithers (late A.I.F.), son of Mr.and Mrs George Smithers, of Kings-vale road, Young, was married to Miss Sylvia Apps, daughter of the late Thomas Apps, of Spring Creek. Rev. S. A. T. Champion performed the ceremony.
