James was born about 1901. James is the child of John Apsey and Jennie Bos. He was raised by his parents in Grand Rapids, Kent, Michigan. [1] In 1910, he boarded in Grand Rapids, Kent, Michigan. [2]
He married Majel Runyon in 1920. [3]Their children were:

Rebecca L Apsey 1942-
The family lived in Toledo, Lucas, Ohio. [4][5]
James and Majel divorced in 1959. [6] Majel went to Florida and James returned to Michigan. [7] James died in 1962 [8]and was buried in Oak Grove Cemetery, Grand Rapids, Kent County, Michigan[9]
