Biography
William Hunt Arant was born in 1824 in Chesterfield, South Carolina to parents Peter Arant Jr. and Nancy ___. He married Elizabeth (Betty, Beth) Funderburk about 1847 in Lancaster, South Carolina. Children: Ransom, Nancy Algerene, Sarah Jane. He was murdered at Wolf Pond Crossroads, Union, North Carolina on 3 Oct 1855.
