Biography

Esma Olive Arbuckle (married name Clough) was born on 2 February 1920 at Nurse Smith's, Highercombe, 572 Newcastle Street, Perth, Western Australia, the daughter of Olive Elizabeth Arbuckle and Henry Robert Arbuckle.^[1][2]

Her engagement to Neil George David Clough was announced in February 1942.^[3] The couple married soon afterwards. Their children were:

• Geoffrey David Clough (1944–)^[4][5]
• June Clough^[4]

Esma died on 15 October 2005 at City Beach, Western Australia.^[6]
