Biography
Brian was born in 1921. He was the son of Fitzwilliam Arbuthnot and Edith Davey.
He was educated at Hilton College (played 1st XV Rugby and 1st XI Cricket).
On 9 June 1949 he married Marion Lilian Lewis (daughter of Arthur George Lewis and Lillian Elviera Reave). They had four children.
He went on to be a mine surveyor who was Consultant Mine Surveyor for the JCI Group of Companies. Then he was with the Chamber of Mines in Johannesburg.
Brian died in 1986.
