Biography

Charles was born in 1870. He was the son of Robert Arbuthnot and Elizabeth Dobbin.

He emigrated from Ireland to the United States.

At the age of 40 Charles married 23 year old Margaret Boyles on 25 April 1911 at Buckhannon, Barbour, West Virginia.[1]

They went on to have nine children.

US Census Event Date 1930: Living with his wife and nine children in Leadsville, Randolph, West Virginia, United States. Aged 60.

Occupation: Labourer - Tannery

His wife died in 1958.

Charles died in 1960 at the age of 89.[2] Cause of death: Self inflicted gunshot wound
