Biography
William was born in 1866. He was the son of William Arbuthnot and Mary Anstruther.[1] William usually went by his middle name of Reierson.

UK Census Event Date 1881: Recorded as a Boarder at Eton, Buckinghamshire, England. Aged 14.
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England. He was a partner of Arbuthnot Latham & Co.
He was chairman of Standard Bank South Africa and Director, Consolidated Sisal Estates of East Africa Ltd. He was the Director of the The Great Southern of Spain Railway Co Ltd in 1901.
He married Mabel Slade (daughter of Francis Henry Slade) on 5 December 1907.
They had two children.
He lived at Old Plaw Hatch, Sussex, England.
Reierson died in 1938 at the age of about 71.[3]
