Biography

Gaetano Arcari, born in Biagio, Saracinisco, Caserta, Italien 16 November 1879, Italian citizen, occupied as a musician, was registered in the Catholic congregation in Göteborg about 1914 with his wife Carmela, born Cocozza (married September 3, 1911) and four children. They were neighbours with Giuseppe Arcari and his family. Presumably the two Arcaris were brothers.^[1]

In april 1916 both families were transferred to the register for Masthugget, where they lived. Gaetano and his family moved to Snöstorp in Halland in 1923.^[2] Now he made a living as a pedlar.^[3]

This family lived in Snöstorp until 1932, when they moved to Maria parish in Stockholm.^[4]

In the census 1940 three children still live with the parents. Gaetano Arcari is again registered as a musician - as are his two sons.^[5]

Gaetano Arcari died in Stockholm 30 April 1956.^[6]
