Abraham was born about January, 1782 in Saint James Parish, Spanish Louisiana. He was the son of Jean Charles Arseneau and Marie Josephe Babin. He was baptized on January 20, 1782 in St. James Parish. His baptrism sponsors were Jean Arceneaux and Marie Babin.[1]
Marriage
Abraham married, as his first wife, Eloisa LeBlanc, the daughter of Jospeh LeBlanc and Margeurite Landry, on August 30, 1802 in Saint James Parish, Spanish Louisiana. Witnesses at the wedding included Jean Charles Arceneau, his father, Joseph Arceneau, his uncle, and Joseph LeBlanc, his father-in-law.[2]
Abraham married as his second wife Carmélite Conille on March 27, 1815 in Ascension Parish, Louisiana, USA. They were both widowed. Witnesses at the wedding included Jose Huguet, Louis Bourdier, and Mr. Bayon.[3]
Death
Abraham died in 1830 in Convent, Saint James Parish, Louisiana, USA. He was buried on September 4, 1830 at Saint Michael Church.[4]
