Irene M. Parrow 1938 - 2012 CHICOPEE - Irene M. (Archambault) Parrow, age 74, passed away on Sept. 28, 2012 at the Heritage Hall Cardiac Rehab Center in Agawam. She was born on Sept 17, 1938 in Springfield. She was a daughter of the late Arthur and Marie (Goff) Archambault. She was a former communicant of St. Patricks Church. Irene worked for the Department of Social Services until her retirement in 2001. Irene also worked at the Blue Eagle Restaurant and Dr. Deagans. Irene loved to hang out at the Hukelau and the Open Door with friends and family. She loved anything outdoors and was a lifelong Red Sox Fan. She also loved trips to the casino. Irene leaves 3 children, her beloved daughter, Kathy MacArthur of Chicopee with whom she lived ; her sons Jon MacArthur and his wife Anita of Washington State; Daniel Parrow Jr. and his wife Lisa of Springfield; 3 brothers, her devoted brother Edward Archambault of Chicopee, Dennis Archambault of FL and Arthur Archambault of CT; her sister Sandra Wagner of FL along with her 7 beloved grandchildren, Rebekah MacArthur, Ryan MacArthur, Nicole Parrow, Chelsea Parrow, Ashlyn Parrow, Abigail Parrow, Tanner Parrow along with many nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind two dear friends Maureen Crawford and Goody Goodrow. Calling hours will be held on Wed., Oct 3, 2012 from 4-8 P.M., with a prayer service to start at 7 P.M. at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee, MA. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
