Biography

Mary Ann "Fannie" Archambault was born about the 6th of February,1858 in Canada West. She was the daughter of Antoine Archambault and Caroline Alcock.[1]

Fannie married Orson Schoonover on the 20th of July, 1878 in Vernon Township, Isabella County, Michigan, United States. [2]

Research Notes

The 1861 Census shows the Archambault family but there is no Frances or Fannie. Only a Mary Ann b. abt.1860. Fannie is perhaps her nickname?

Marriage record for Fannie and Orson Schoonover, some transcriber errors in the description, look at the original document. Fannie appears as witness to her brother Joseph John Archambault's wedding at the top of the page. Her own wedding is lower down. Based on this find I can only say that Mary Ann chose to go by the name Fannie as no one by the name of Fannie appears in her family documents. Her husbands surname is "Schoonover"
