Cicely Archdale was born in 1886, the daughter of Colonel Mervyn Henry Archdale and Mary de Bathe. [1]
She married Lawrence John Lumley Dundas, 2nd Marquess of Zetland, son of Lawrence Dundas, 1st Marquess of Zetland and Lady Lillian Selina Elizabeth Lumley, on 3 December 1907.
