"II. John (Ven.) [Archdall], Archdeacon of Killala, 1 Nov. 1637, and of Achonry, 12 March, 1638, who m. the dau. of Donellan of co. Roscommon, and d. 1668, leaving a son, John (Rev.) ]Archdall], Vicar of Lusk, co. Dublin, 1679. He m. by licence, dated 1 April, 1679, Elizabeth [Barnard], dau. of John Barnard, Esq. of Drumin, co. Louth, . . ."

Reverend John Archdall was born in 1650, the son of Venerable John Archdale and Elizabeth Donnellan. He and Elizabeth Barnard obtained a marriage license on 1 April 1679.

He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, in 1671 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, in 1675 with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He was the Vicar between 1679 and 1689 at Lusk, County Dublin, Ireland.1
