Martha was born about 1729. She passed away in 1798.

Research Notes

Parents: This Martha was not the daughter of Peter Field Archer and his wife Elizabeth Royall. Elizabeth's 1785 will, proved in Chesterfield County, Virginia, names daughter Martha Field and granddaughter Martha Field Walthall.

She is also not the daughter of John Archer and Martha Field, whose daughter Martha Field Archer married Samuel Allen. Nor is she known to be a daughter of Sarah Randolph by John and Martha (Field) Archer's son John.

This Archer family is not known to have resided in Middlesex County.

Middle Name: Since Peter Field Archer was not her father, I removed "Field" as her middle name.
