Amelia was born about 1820. She was the daughter of Abram Archer and Sarah Jones. Amelia's christening at St Mary, Higham, Kent is noted as Sept 17, 1820. [1]
In 1841 Census, Amelia is 20 years old and is living at High Street, Milton on Gravesend by independent means. [2]
Amelia Ellen Archer married Edwin Edmund Lee on July 18, 1848 at St John at Hackney Church. [3]
In the 1851 Census, the couple are living at 51 Edwin Street, Milton. Edwin is a Painter and Amelia is a Dressmaker. With them is their nephew, George, the son of James Archer and Sarah Wickenden.
In the 1861 Census, Amelia and Edwin are living at "Daisy Cottage" Cliff Row, Greenhithe, with their niece Elizabeth Lee. Edwin is still a Painter while Amelia has no occupation noted.
Amelia Ellen Lee passed away in the last quarter of 1863. [4] She was buried in the churchyard of St Peter and St Paul's Swanscombe, Kent. [5]
