William Martin Archibald was born in Little River, Musquodoboit, Nova Scotia, in 1880, the son of Donald Archibald and Grizzell McLaughlin.[1][2][3]
Mr. Archibald started out life as a bookkeeper and entered into municipal government service, completing his career as Treasurer for the County of Halifax, Nova Scotia.[3]
William's wife, Alice Margaret, died in Halifax on the 13th March 1952, aged sixty-nine years.[4]
On the 1st April 1974, William Martin Archibald died in Halifax, aged ninety-three years.[3]
