Archibald or Archbald seems to have been a very common surname in Inveresk. A profile I manage (Archibald-2726) has ancestors back to the 1600s all in Inveresk and this profile also goes back to the 1600s in the same villiage. (See family search where these trees are clearly laid out.) Unfortunately, I can not see a connection between the two trees.

Archibald-2622 and Archibald-2057 do not represent the same person because: Although the birth date is very similar, I do not think they match as the mothers name is different the one child I have listed is not listed on the other, that looks like they have all of the names. Also the place of birth is not the same.
