Biography

Isabella Barber Archibald was born on 23 October 1889 in Weymss, Fife, daughter of William Archibald and Sophia Easton (King) Archibald. ^[1][2][3] (In August 1943 she was referred to as Isabella Barbara Simpson. ^[3])

In 1891 she lived in Prestonpans, Haddingtonshire. ^[2] Ten years later she was living in Lochgelly, Fife. ^[4]

On 31 December 1909, she married John Simpson in Auchterderran, Fife. ^[5]

She emigrated to Washington, USA in 1920. ^[6]

In 1930 and 1940 she was living in Cle Elum, Kittitas, Washington. ^[6][7]

She died on 15 December 1981 and is buried in Laurel Hill Memorial Park, Cle Elum, Kittitas, Washington. ^[8]
