This person should not be linked with the Thomas Archibald of Maine but graduated from Dartmouth in 1783. Sketches of Dartmouth Graduates list his parents as Robert and Ann(Boyd) Archibald which may have been his Great grandparents or Grandparents if he was the son of David Archibald of Truro who left Derry New Hampshire. He seems to be one of the original land grants of Truro and was an itinerant minister before dying at his son John Asbel Archibald's residence in Dickinson Landing, in Dundas/Glengarry County.
