She was the daughter of Reuben Ard and Agnes Dickerson. Her siblings were: Elizabeth (Betsy) Ann, James, John, Rebecca, Westley, David, William, Reuben III, Thomas and George Washington, Lafayette.
Her children were: John Wesley, Martha Louisa (Creamer), Agnes Belvenia (Windham) and Elizabeth Jane (Thomas) and more.
