Mrs Ella Miles Spring, 62, of Coward died Thursday morning in a Florence hospital following a brief illness.
Funeral arrangement will be announced by the Brockington Funeral Home.
Mrs. Spring was a daughter of the late Mr and Mrs Steave Ard and had been formerly married to the late Elijah Miles. She lived most of her life in Olanta and had recently moved to Coward.
Surviving are her husband, Davie Springs; nine sons, Rush and Frank Miles of Coward, Ivan Miles of Charleston, Archie, Parnell, Hazel and Cleo Miles, all of Columbia, Joseph Miles of Cades, and Willard Miles of Denver Colorado; five daughters, Mrs Leatha Matthews and Miss Valerie Miles of Friendfield, Mrs Linia Frye of Timmonsville, Mrs Rufus Kirby of Lynchburg, Mrs Travis McKnight of Coward; 52 granchildren and five great grandchildren.
